Our Opportunity

North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk - I to join our team. The ideal candidate will accurately and efficiently record and report shipping data in support of the Warehouse function.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Your Priorities

Maintains shipping records within the AS400 system through daily input.
Makes minor corrections, codes items, and maintains records of shipping documents processed.
Verifies shipping reports against control totals, reviews for accuracy, and distributes reports to the appropriate departments.
Informs departments of missing or incorrect shipping data.
Schedules daily shipments and transmits shipment totals to the customers electronically.
Coordinates communication between customer service, the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor, and/or the team leader.

The salary range for this position is $35,100 - $46,500 per year. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications, and the career level at which the position is filled.

Requirements

Your Background

High School Diploma or GED, plus 0 to 2 years of prior data entry or office/clerical experience.
