Position Summary

As a Utility Worker (I) at Fraley and Schilling, you will be responsible for performing various basic maintenance tasks in our shop. Your primary objective will be to uphold our core value of safety first while supporting our maintenance operations. This role is crucial in ensuring that our equipment is well-maintained, clean, and ready for use, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of our fleet.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with fueling trucks and other equipment to ensure readiness for operation.

  • Support tractor and trailer inspections, ensuring that vehicles meet safety and operational standards.

  • Perform routine cleaning duties in the shop and on trucks to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

  • Prepare equipment for Orientation and reseating, ensuring it is in optimal condition for new drivers.

  • Change tires on trucks and trailers as required.

  • Drive company vehicles when necessary, adhering to all safety and traffic regulations.

  • Complete other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
