Job DetailsJob Location: Muskegon, MI 49441Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolJob Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Security and Safety Supervisor, performs various housekeeping and facilities functions.  These include but are not limited to:  Disposing of trash and cardboard, running sweeper/scrubber in warehouse, assisting with facilities related tasks and performing assigned special projects.  This position requires lifting and the safe operation of equipment.   Duties and Responsibilities: (% increments must be no less than 5%) % of Time Spent   Primary Duties & Responsibilities   60% Housekeeping, trash, cardboard recycling.      15% Required to operate sweeper/scrubber and material handling equipment. 10% Facility tasks. 5% Maintain a clean, safe and productive work environment 5% Back up picking in warehouse when needed. 5 % Other duties as assigned QualificationsMinimum Position Qualifications: Experience 2 + years work experience in facilities/maintenance and custodial/housekeeping.  Must be certified to operate all equipment and be able to pass certification tests. Education Level High school diploma or GED.  . Position Requirements Must be able lift up to 70 lbs. Ability to use scanner systems effectively with minimal errors Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed Ability to meet and maintain a set level of accuracy and efficiency. Good verbal/written communication skills, basic math skills and ability to read Material handling equipment experience is a plus – required to pass certification test Strong team player and the ability to get along with co-workers All tasks to be done in a manner that are in keeping with the overall performance goals of -safety – accuracy – productivity – attendance - teamwork
