The role of the ambulatory care registered nurse (ARN) is a complex, multifaceted specialty that encompasses independent and collaborative practice. The comprehensive practice is built upon a broad knowledge base of nursing and health sciences, and applies clinical expertise rooted in the nursing process. RNs use evidence based information across a variety of outpatient health care settings to achieve and ensure patient safety and quality of care while improving patient outcomes (AACN, 2017)1st Shift Monday – Friday, no weekends, or holidays

Position Summary:
A variety of shared responsibilities in a busy practice. Utilizes nursing assessment skills and clinical protocol guidelines in a decision-making capacity to provide timely and efficient patient care.
What you will do: Â
Performs Stress Testing with our Nuclear Team
Telephone triage
Medication Refills
New consult evaluation
Patient education
Performs clerical functions, all functions of a Medical Assistant, and environmental duties to support team objectives
What you will need:
Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program
Associate degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.
Licensed in the State of Michigan
1 years of experience as an RN required
ACLS required within 3 months of employment
Specialty credentialing preferred according to clinical nursing practice specialty area preferred
