Qualifications: Must have current, unencumbered R.N. license to practice in the State of Michigan; level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of a minimum of two years of college level training in nursing, BSN preferred; Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification; analytical ability to assess and evaluate patients condition and utilize the nursing process; interpersonal skills necessary to almost constantly communicate with patients, families, medical personnel and other members of the health care team; ability to work cooperatively within the framework of the nursing team; ability to perform effectively and efficiently under pressure and stressful critical situations; ability to operate a computer.Registered Nurse ( RN ) – Med Surg Float – Part-Time
Schedule:
- Part-time
- 12-hour shifts
- 48 hours per pay period
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- No weekends; holidays to be scheduled in accordance per CBA

What You’ll Do
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will:
- Deliver holistic, patient-centered care by assessing health data, creating individualized care plans, and evaluating outcomes.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based, personalized care.
- Support all aspects of the patient experience, making a meaningful impact on every patient’s journey.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Michigan RN license.
- Prior experience in a specialty area preferred.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Commitment to Trinity Health’s mission, vision, and values.
Continuing Employment Requirements
- Familiarity with hospital and department policies and procedures, including accepted methods for requisitioning ancillary services and working with medical staff.
(Typically acquired during 1–3 months of orientation.) - Maintain current nursing knowledge, BLS certification, and required CEUs for licensure.
- Demonstrate and articulate commitment to the philosophy, values, mission, and vision of Trinity Health Muskegon.
