Job DetailsJob Location: Muskogee, OK 74401Job Purpose: - The Medical Assistant at SPC LLC will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare professionals by performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks. This position is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facilities and providing exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities: - Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. - Record patient medical history, vital statistics, and information such as test results in medical records. - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean. - Administer medications as directed by physicians and as permitted by state law. - Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow to ensure timely and efficient care. - Perform basic laboratory tests and operate medical equipment under the supervision of healthcare providers. - Provide patients with information and instructions regarding medications, diet, and follow-up care. - Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure that examination rooms are fully stocked. - Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experience. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients.Qualifications Required Education: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited medical assistant program preferred Required Experience: - Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a medical assistant in a healthcare setting - Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems - Previous experience in patient care and clinical procedures Required Skills and Abilities: - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals - Ability to perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections - Proficient in using medical equipment and technology - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently - Compassionate and patient-focused approach to healthcare delivery - Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations What We Offer Work-Life Balance Monday–Friday schedule No nights or weekends Clinic hours: Mon–Thurs: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM Fri: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM (half-day!)
