Job Summary The Chaplain is responsible for the delivery of pastoral care to residents, family members and, as appropriate, Team Members. They will have responsibility to ensure that religious and spiritual needs of residents and family members are met in areas to which they are assigned. Major Responsibilities, Duties, Functions, and Tasks of the Position Visit and counsel residents, family members, and Team Members who request spiritual or emotional counseling Conduct consistent Worship Services and Bible Studies for residents as requested or scheduled Hospital visitation as requested Assist with funeral preparations for family and residents as requested Works in conjunction with Therapeutic Services to conduct and document one to one resident visits. Chaplain works with the interdisciplinary care team Recommend policies and procedures for pastoral services to residents Assist and advise Team Members regarding ethics in health care Demonstrates initiative in actively promoting spiritual care services and programs. Participates and actively contributes to all assigned meetings and committees  Qualifications
