Job Summary

Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, repair, and overall functionality of our facility and grounds. This position plays a key role in ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for guests and employees.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building and facility maintenance and repairs
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues with equipment and systems
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks as assigned
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality of indoor and outdoor areas
• Assist with general repairs including minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Support other departments with maintenance needs as required

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, facilities, or handyman experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of building systems and repair work
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Frequent bending, climbing, and reaching
• Lifting up to 74 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 99 lbs
• Working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

Work Environment

• Exposure to temperature changes and humidity
• Frequent use of tools, equipment, and maintenance materials
• Occasional work at heights or in confined spaces
• Moderate to high noise levels
