Plumbing Superintendent

We are hiring for a Plumbing Superintendent in the Myrtle Beach area!

Duties:
- Perform a variety of skilled tasks in the construction, maintenance, and repair of buildings and structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, metal, or other materials
- Install and repair plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely
- Operate heavy equipment and vehicles for transportation of materials and equipment

Skills:
- Commercial driving experience to transport materials and equipment to job sites
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proficiency in using power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials
- Knowledge of plumbing techniques for installation and repair work
- Carpentry skills for framing, finishing, and general construction tasks
- Experience in construction plumbing for installing pipes, fixtures, and fittings
- Maintenance Person skills for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with hand tools for precise measurements and adjustments

- Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 7 years commercial plumbing experience with a minimum of 3 years in supervisory role on medium to large commercial plumbing projects

- Proper installation of duct and equipment per code, specs, prints, and diagrams

- Experienced in new construction, renovation, and upfit construction

- Work with safe production as a priority and impress the same upon team

- Ability to communicate effectively, written and verbal, with team members, subcontractors, vendors, prime contractors, and owner representatives

- A leader by example, understands the importance of being hands-on

- Understanding of importance of team work and ability to create team approach among crew members

- Familiar with digital construction documentation and software such as Procore or similar, electronic time recording entry, digital field reports, and other as applicable to the project
