Locum CRNA Needed in East Texas - 1094

● Job Title: Locum CRNA

● Job Type: Locum / Contract

● Location: East Texas
● Duration: 3-6 months

● Shifts: 8 and 10 hour shifts available

● Call: Frequent primary and backup call needs during the week and weekends

● Case Types: Neuro, General, OB/GYN, GI, ENT (healthy peds), Plastics, Urology, Podiatry, Labor Epidurals and SAB for C-Sections. Ortho is elective totals and trauma  - almost no ambulatory

● Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days, but temps can be granted if needed and with a clean file

● EMR: TBD

● Supervision Model: Independent with MDs onsite if needed from Monday-Friday

● Special Considerations: OB experience and proficiency is a must. Neurosurgery cannot be excluded. Experience with vascular and thoracic surgery will help, as well as experience in regional and pediatrics. Providers will commonly do run-of-the-mill general surgery cases and see their high-acuity ones. 

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, sound judgment, and a patient-centered approach to care. This locum opportunity offers flexibility while allowing the CRNA to work within a collaborative, well-supported anesthesia care team.

● Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re-certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)

● Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Texas

●  Minimum of 1–3 years of CRNA experience preferred; proficiency in various case types

● Strong clinical knowledge and ability to provide anesthesia care to diverse patient populations

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and the care team

● BLS and ACLS required; PALS and other advanced certifications as applicable

● Flexible schedule with locum contract options
