RV Outfitters - Lot Porter / Service Technician Assistant

RV Outfitters of Texas is a Division of Motorhomes of Texas that has been in business since 2018.  RV Outfitters is a travel trailer and fifth wheel dealership serving Nacogdoches, Lufkin, and surrounding areas.   RVO is growing and in need of a Lot Porter / Service Technician Assistant. We are seeking candidates who are dedicated to and take pride in their work. We will train the right candidate; you bring enthusiasm, character, drive, and desire to be successful!

This position is hands-on and requires an individual who enjoys working both independently and collaboratively, pays attention to detail and can clearly communicate information.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Exterior cleaning of RV’s for retail sales and delivery to customers
• Final cleaning of the interior of sold units in preparation for delivery to customers
• Moving RV’s on the sales / service lot
• Assist Service Technicians as needed
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the interiors and exteriors of RV’s on the lot
• Help to keep the parking lot clean
• Assist in ensuring all available inventory is on display
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Working knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance would be advantageous
• Detail oriented and organized
• Willingness to learn and to perform a wide range of allocated tasks
• Positive attitude with excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work well as part of a team or independently
• Strong attention to detail
• All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include a background check and drug screen.
