The position is responsible for the overall business direction and supervision of Specialty Service Line(s) at Queen of the Valley Medical Center (QVMC). In collaboration with the Medical Directors, Nurse Managers, Medical/Surgical Nurse Director, OR Nurse Director, CNO, and COO the Manager is responsible for the overall planning, development, coordination, and implementation of strategies related to the specialty service line continuum as outlined in the Specialty Service Line strategic business plan. Promotes, directs, and participates in ongoing program improvement initiatives, analyzes trends, identifies opportunities, and helps implement changes to improve efficiency, quality, and customer service (patient satisfaction) within the service line.Â

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Health related field.
- Coursework/Training: Training in current standards of inpatient care and department functions.
- 2 years Clinical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:Â
- Master's Degree Science, Nursing, Health Administration, or healthcare related field.
- Experience with program development and management.
