Job Summary 

Working inside our Napa beverage distribution center, the Warehouse Associate — Inventory Control is responsible for selecting, picking, and staging customer orders for next-day delivery while maintaining accurate inventory records throughout the facility. This is a fast-paced, physical role requiring strong attention to detail, consistent accuracy, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies. Primary Job Duties

  • Picking orders and properly labeling for staging and delivery.

  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure system accuracy

  • Identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner

  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning equipment

  • Receive, verify, and process inbound shipments; confirm quantities and product condition against purchase orders

  • Coordinate with the operations team to reconcile variances between physical counts and system records

  • Participate in problem-solving efforts to improve accuracy, efficiency, and cleanliness of the work area

  • Safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts

  • Keep the work zone clean and orderly to maintain a safe warehouse environment

  • Communicate proactively with managers and supervisors regarding inventory issues, discrepancies, or operational concerns

  • Meet daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual output and accuracy metrics

  • Perform other duties as requested by management



Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience, including pallet jack and forklift operation

  • Minimum 1 year of inventory control, cycle counting, or stock auditing experience preferred

  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning strongly preferred

  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision

  • Strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy in labeling, receiving, counting, and storing materials

  • Can be trained to achieve 90% competency within six (6) months

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A.
