The Field Sales Consultant self-generates sales leads and presents in-home presentations on our solar products and services for potential customers. Their priority is to make a genuine human connection with the potential customers with the intent to qualify and vet solar as a viable energy solution for their home and families. If you enjoy face to face interaction, engaging customers and find the idea of working out in the field exciting, then this is the job for you! Responsibilities include developing effective self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments with potential customers; providing an industry leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation and after the customer's system is turned on; conducting in-home sales presentations for potential customers and evaluating customers’ knowledge and needs, building productive long lasting relationships; handling the pipeline of activity from prospect to install by following up with all leads and in-home consultations; accurately dispositioning and reporting on outcomes via the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool; and meeting minimum required sales targets as set by sales leadership. Qualifications include minimum of 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience, with in-home sales experience preferred; must be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license, and maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check; excellent communication and teamwork skills; willingness to spend time traveling within local market; willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends; intermediate comfort level with technology, utilizing an IPAD/computer and multiple software applications.
