This is more than a coaching position. You’ll play an integral role in the performance of the studio—leading exceptional training sessions while supporting membership growth, retention, sales, community engagement, and the continued development of the team.

Our ownership group operates three Alloy studios, creating meaningful opportunities for an ambitious fitness professional who wants to grow beyond the training floor and develop into larger studio leadership responsibilities.

We are looking for someone who can combine great coaching with leadership, sales, and relationship-building skills. The right person understands that a successful fitness business is built through both an outstanding member experience and a strong local community presence.

YOU WILL THRIVE AT ALLOY: As the Assistant Studio Manager/Head Coach, you’ll be highly visible in the studio and work alongside leadership to help drive:

  • Small-group personal training and exceptional technical coaching
  • Membership sales and new member conversion
  • Member engagement and retention
  • Coach leadership, training, and development
  • Studio operations and performance
  • Local grassroots marketing and community outreach
  • Health, wellness, and networking events
  • Overall studio culture and member experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead high-quality group personal training sessions and create a best-in-class member experience
  • Coach, motivate, and build meaningful relationships with members
  • Support the Studio Manager with daily studio leadership and operations
  • Help convert prospective members through consultations, relationship building, and follow-up
  • Support membership growth and retention initiatives
  • Assist with the training, development, and accountability of the coaching team
  • Participate in local community events, networking opportunities, and grassroots marketing
  • Help establish studio goals and execute strategies to achieve them
  • Maintain the high coaching and service standards associated with the Alloy brand
  • Step into additional leadership responsibilities as the organization continues to grow

ABOUT YOU:

  • 2–5+ years of personal training, small-group training, or comparable fitness experience preferred
  • Previous fitness leadership, management, or supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Fitness sales and membership-development experience
  • Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification such as NASM, ACSM, NSCA, CSCS, ISSA, NCCPT, NCSF, ACE, or comparable credential OR a degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field
  • Excellent coaching and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management abilities
  • Confidence speaking with prospective members and asking for the sale
  • Ability to develop relationships within the local community
  • Comfortable with fitness technology and studio-management systems
  • Mindbody experience is a plus
  • Availability for some early morning, evening, and weekend hours as required by the studio

STRONGER TOGETHER: Alloy Personal Training specializes in customized small group personal training designed around the individual. Our coaches combine intelligent programming, technical expertise, accountability, and personal connection to help members become stronger and healthier at every stage of life.

For the right fitness professional, this position offers the opportunity to coach, lead, sell, develop people, and build a long-term career within a growing organization.

READY FOR YOUR NEXT STEP? If you are an experienced personal trainer or fitness leader who wants greater responsibility, earning potential, and a clear path toward studio leadership, we want to meet you.
