The work schedule during training is Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

After training, you can choose from the following hours: 7:00 am-3:30 pm, 7:30 am-4:00 pm, or 8:00 am-4:30 pm.

Job Description

This position is responsible for reviewing, investigating, evaluating, and determining the eligibility of claims. The role involves negotiating the resolution of claims in compliance with all policies and state regulatory requirements while managing a large volume of claims.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure customers and providers are paid timely and accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
  • Handle customer reimbursement requests.
  • Validate daily NHS wire payments and exceptions.
  • Manage the reconciliation of Customer Preferred Pricing transactions.
  • Assist with inquiries regarding claim status.
  • Analyze and validate a high level of claims data for entry into a proprietary operating system.
  • Index invoices received in the inbox and move them to the appropriate location.
  • Perform filing and other administrative duties as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Recent 1+ year of office experience in data entry, processing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong attendance and reliability.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with minimal to no errors.
  • Ability to learn new processes and systems quickly.
  • Adaptability to changes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Efficient and accurate typing skills.
  • Minimum of a GED or high school diploma.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence others.
  • Self-starter, creative problem solver, persuasive, and a strong team player.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced environment is desirable

This is a Contract position based out of Naperville, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
