Job Purpose

Herc Rentals is seeking a talented and innovative Business Intelligence Developer to join our dynamic team in beautiful Bonita Springs, Florida. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dashboard development and SQL analysis, and an ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. This role requires a creative thinker who can work well with business partners to understand their needs and articulate technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.

What you will do...

Develop and maintain Qlik Sense dashboards and reports across all functional lines of business
Work in Teradata data warehouse and Qlik data load editor to build performant views in support of Qlik reports
Review SQL in existing reports for opportunities to optimize load times and improve performance for users
Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Design and implement innovative solutions to meet business needs
Articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data presented in reports
Stay updated on the latest Qlik Sense features and best practices.
Maintain focus on information security

Requirements

Proven experience developing front-end reporting – preferably in Qlik Sense, but open to experience in similar tools like Tableau and Power BI
Strong knowledge of complex SQL queries - experience using Teradata a plus
Working knowledge of Python
Ability to work well with business partners to understand and fulfill their requirements
Innovative and creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset
Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical ideas to non-technical individuals
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
