CUSTODIAN – Full-Time

Naples Airport Authority serves the community with a purpose of providing a safe, efficient and financially sustainable airport that best serves the overall interests of the community.

THE POSITION

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic team member who is interested in providing an essential supportive service to the airport by keeping general aviation, passenger terminal, offices, grounds, and other airport facilities in clean and orderly condition.

Some of the position duties include:

• Cleans and sanitizes terminal facilities, offices, restrooms, public areas, and other Authority buildings.
• Cleans floors, windows, sidewalks, entrances, and other interior and exterior areas.
• Collects and properly disposes of trash and recyclables.
• Restocks custodial supplies and monitors inventory levels.
• Safely operates custodial equipment and reports maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns.
• Provides courteous and professional service to employees, tenants, customers, and visitors.

REQUIREMENTS

• No experience required; custodial, janitorial, facilities maintenance, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and safely operate custodial equipment, tools, and cleaning products.
• OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Certification required within 90 days of employment.
• Basic computer and mobile device skills.
• Valid Florida driver's license with driving record meeting Authority standards.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  Starting Salary: $17.74 per hour
