Food Service Server – Assisted Living Community
Join our dedicated Food Services Team and bring your talents to a rewarding environment where you can make a positive impact on residents’ lives. Our assisted living community is seeking a committed and experienced full-time Food Service Server to support our dietary department. This is an excellent opportunity to work daytime hours with a rotation of weekends, providing a balanced work-life schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve meals to residents in a courteous and professional manner
- Assist with meal setup, delivery, and cleanup to ensure a smooth dining experience
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Communicate effectively with residents and team members to meet dietary needs
- Maintain a clean and organized service area
- Support special dietary requests and accommodate resident preferences as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in food service, preferably in senior living or healthcare settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled hours from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Ability to work weekends on a rotating basis
- Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
