We are currently looking for a Equipment Operator I to join the Quail West team!

Summary: The Equipment Operator I will exhibit proficiency in all tasks associated with the daily care and maintenance of a private upscale golf course. Knows how to operate and care for the equipment that goes into the daily maintenance of a golf course.

This is a Full-Time Hourly Position
Pay rate: $17.50/hour

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operates a walk or riding mower to cut grass on and around the golf course.
Operates tractor to haul materials and fertilize grounds.
Operates loader to move materials, such as dirt or sand, from one area to another.
Responsible for current goals and objectives of department and accurate implementation of daily work objectives.
Will energetically support all training activities with this department to ensure consistency throughout multi-course operation.
Will assist in training, supporting, and coaching all activities of the staff.
Will perform all duties of Equipment Operator 1 with excellence but not be limited to these tasks.
Will perform all duties in a safe operating manner while wearing all required safety equipment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Requires lifting and carrying up to 60 pounds.
The nature of the position requires the individual to spend long periods of time on their feet, walking, standing, and stooping.
