Job Title: Equipment Operator / Maintenance
Reports to: Golf Course Superintendent
Compensation: HourlyÂ
Job Summary:Â
- Daily golf course setup; walk mowing greens, rake bunkers, changing cups, tee service divot repairs
- Operates Toro Mowers; greens, tees, fairway, roughs, and collars (different heights)
- Operates all types of equipment; hand-held power tools, utility carts, mowers, tractors, etc.Â
- Edger/Weed-eater/Power Trimmers/Chainsaws
- Attention to detail
- Refills fuel, cleans equipment daily, and reports equipment problems or failures to Equipment Manager immediately.
- Performs other duties as directed by his/her supervisor
Requirements
 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Preferably 1 to 2 years experience
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Must be able to work in the heat for extended periods.
- Ability to understand daily assignments.
- Ability to interact and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, coworkers and members.
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
- Will train.
