Joint Implant Surgeons of Florida (JISF) is a physician-owned private medical practice specializing in Orthopedics, Spine, and Pain Management. 

We are looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team.

This position will be primarily based in our Naples office, with occasional floating to our Fort Myers office.

As a Radiologic Technologist, you'll play an important role in supporting our physicians and providing patients with a positive experience. Under the direction of the Imaging Manager, you'll:

  • Operate digital X-ray equipment and C-arm technology for diagnostic and procedural imaging.
  • Perform accurate, timely X-rays while maintaining an efficient clinic flow.
  • Safely position patients and follow appropriate radiation protection practices.
  • Work closely with physicians, learning their individual preferences and workflows.
  • Review and prepare patient charts for upcoming clinics.
  • Retrieve outside imaging and provide copies of X-rays to patients when requested.
  • Maintain accurate imaging records, files, and departmental documentation.
  • Keep the imaging area clean, organized, and ready for patients.
  • Assist the Imaging Manager with administrative responsibilities.
  • Support teammates and other departments when needed.
  • Provide compassionate, professional care to every patient.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Active ARRT (RT(R)) certification
  • Active Florida X-Ray license
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire)
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and radiographic positioning
  • Ability to operate imaging equipment effectively and safely
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with patients, physicians, and coworkers
  • Comfortable working with multiple computer systems
  • One year of experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to:

  • Stand, reach, bend, and move throughout the workday
  • Lift up to 50 pounds at a time
  • Safely and effectively position patients for a variety of diagnostic examinations
