Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • Overtime is available
  • No rotating shifts
  • Paid holidays (no waiting period)

Work Environment:

  • Morgantown, PA
  • Primary work environment is an indoor service and maintenance shop, with occasional field or outdoor work as needed.
  • Specialty work on fire trucks and ambulances

Key Job Duties:

  • Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, brakes, suspension, and air systems
  • Troubleshooting and repairing wiring, controls, sensors, pumps, valves, cylinders, and hydraulic systems
  • Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on fire trucks and ambulances
  • Accurately documenting repairs, labor time, and parts usage
  • Completing safety inspections and ensuring vehicles are ready for service
  • Maintaining a clean, safe work area and following OSHA and company safety standards
  • Assisting other technicians as needed and working as part of a team 

Requirements

What we’re looking for:

  • Diesel mechanic experience strong electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills, preferably with heavy duty trucks or      equipment preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening
