Job DetailsJob Location: Morgantown, PA 19543Laboratory Technician 1 (Grid Lab)  Hatfield, PA  Training for 8-10 weeks  Morgantown, PA worksite after training period     POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for assembling the C-Flat product in our Class 1,000 Clean Room.  This is a batch process where an array of small copper or gold grids are placed in a water bath, then an ultra-thin sheet of carbon is transferred to the surface of the grids.  The grids are then inspected for quality and packaged according to standard operating procedures.    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Process grids for C-Flat and Formvar grid production Empty bucket of discard water as needed Ensure correct data entry at all times Responsible for preparing production equipment (i.e., cleaning sieves) Attend to minor facilities tasks as necessary (i.e., replace sticky mat each day) Keep work area clean and organized Provide process feedback to supervision Wear proper PPE when required Measure, mix, and dispose of chemicals while following strict safety protocols Work closely with other team members to complete tasks Communicate stocking needs to supervision in a timely manner Other duties, as assigned   SKILLS AND ABILITIES Detailed attention to process instructions Fine motor skills Coachable team member who works hard to help the team succeed Meet goals established by management   MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or GED PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS Experience working with basic stereo microscopes Biolyst Scientific provides equal employment opportunities to all persons and prohibits employment decisions based on race, religion, color, creed, national origin, sex, age, disability, political affiliation, protected veteran status, or sexual orientation.     #LI-Onsite Qualifications
