ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Serve as a positive representation of Heritage Cooperative’s Core Values

Abide by all safety regulations to ensure safety of oneself, coworkers and customers

Attentively keep accurate packing records

Maintain inventory of empty pallets, stretch film and netting

Operate forklift from palletizer to loading and warehouse

Operate palletizer, stretch wrapper and forklift for packing line

Participate in an open line of communication between supervisor and coworkers regarding any shortages on shipping orders.

Represent company values while training incoming employees 

Strive to keep work area clean and organized

Supply production with pallets, bags and pallet sheets

Unload trucks and verify items with manifest

Verify date code and product description prior to loading

Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

Ability to frequently stand and/or walk for extended periods of time

Ability to frequently lift and/or carry heavy objects no more than 50 pounds

Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed

Willingness to work various weather elements including cold, heat, wind, rain, etc

Outstanding Organizational and Time-Management Skills

Excellent Communication Skills

Respectable Mechanical Skills

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Valid Driver’s License, with acceptable driving record

Forklift Certified 

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Previous Feed Experience
