Role summary

Pure Process Technology (PPT) designs and manufactures high-purity water systems and Solvent Purification Systems (SPS) for biotech, life science, and research labs. The Shop Technician supports production flow, shop organization, column production, media tank re-bedding, logistics support, and facility organization. This role is a development track to Service Technician I.

Core responsibilities - Shop Technician

•    Column production using PPT standard procedures and checklists.

•    Media tank re-bedding with strong cleanliness, labeling, and staging discipline.

•    Pick-ups and drop-offs for vendors, customers, and service technicians (as assigned).

•    Support shipping and receiving tasks (material handling, packaging support, issue reporting).

•    Support facility maintenance, cleaning, and organization.

Development track toward Service Technician I

•    Learn PM (preventive maintenance) kit staging and parts prep for service visits.

•    Shadow service visits as scheduled and build foundational PM skills.

•    Practice documentation discipline (serial numbers, service notes, photos, and parts used).

Qualifications

•    Reliable attendance and safety-first mindset.

•    Comfortable with hands-on mechanical work and following written procedures.

•    Valid driver's license (for pick-ups and drop-offs).

•    Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet.

•    Basic computer skills for checklists and documentation; willingness to learn high-purity water basics.

Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
On-Site (MA), Shop (NH)
