We invite those interested in serving our students in this temporary role to complete the online application for this position. Substitutes teachers at USN are paid $144 for a full day of instruction. Substitute teaching assignments for less than a full-day will be compensated at a pro-rated amount. Substitute teacher applicants will be contacted as the need arises for their particular qualifications, range of experience, and interests. Substitute teacher applications submitted after June 1, 2025, will be kept on file for the 2025-26 school year.     Qualifications College degree required Strong computer skills Experience working with school-aged children preferred Skills and Abilities Maintain a positive, welcoming, and professional demeanor Able to organize and multi-task with close attention to detail Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with adults and school-aged children in a busy environment Communicate accurately and concisely Demonstrate integrity and maintain confidentiality   In order to complete the application process, please upload your resume and cover letter.
