Work Environment: This position is a hybrid role with expectations for 3 days onsite and 1 day remote. 

POSITION SUMMARY: This internship supports the development of BMI affiliate customer support quality program by assisting with call evaluations, scoring, and research into potential automation tools. The intern will gain hands-on experience in customer operations, quality assurance, and technology evaluation. The role offers meaningful exposure to real affiliate interactions and insight into how performance and operational decisions are made withing a growing team.

 

FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

 

  • Assist in creating and refining the call-quality scoring rubic.
  • Listen to customer calls and score them using the rubic.
  • Prepare individual quality scorecards for agents.
  • Research Auto-QA (automatic quality analysis) software options and document findings.
  • Participate in vendor demos and summarize key takeaways.
  • Support general quality and performance coaching tasks as needed
  • Regular attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Education: Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate student. Must return to school in the Fall of 2026. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.

 

Skills and Abilities: 

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Clear written and communication skills
  • Ability to listen carefully and evaluate information objectively
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new processes and tools
  • Basic research and comparison skills
  • Self-motivator; excited to learn and participate.  
  • Preferred areas of study or interests: Business, Communications, Data Analytics, Psychology or related Social Sciences.
