Assistant Store Manager "Lead Outfitter" - Nashville, TN

Ball and Buck is opening in Nashville, and we're looking for an Assistant Store Manager to help build it from day one. We're a heritage American brand grounded in craftsmanship, the outdoors, and gear made to last. As the Assistant Store Manager, you'll be the Store Manager's right hand — leading the team, running the floor, and making sure every guest leaves with the right gear and a story worth telling.


What you'll do

  • Share the Ball and Buck story and guide guests to the right clothing and gear for their adventures
  • Build genuine relationships with guests that keep them coming back
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the store team alongside the Store Manager
  • Build and manage the team schedule
  • Own store merchandising and keep the floor sharp through every shift
  • Plan and host in-store events that connect the brand to the Nashville community
  • Partner with the home office to order and reorder inventory
  • Open, close, and run the store in the Store Manager's absence


What you bring

  • 2+ years in retail, with leadership or key-holder experience 
  • A real passion for the outdoors and American-made goods
  • Strong people skills and a knack for building a team
  • Comfort with the operational side — scheduling, inventory, and merchandising
