About the Role
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for providing hospitality services for events, activities, and meetings held at the BMI Nashville office – Creative, to include executing various tasks needed for planning, setup, maintaining, monitoring, and clean up. Assist the Creative Department with special projects as assigned.Â

FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
Â
- Executes planning, set-up, service, breakdown and clean-up of meetings and events, including after-hours hospitality events in the Creative area and the building, such as #1 parties, Quarterly BMI Board meetings
- Performs general housekeeping duties throughout the Creative department
- Sets up and assists audio/video presentations using PowerPoint, interconnecting PCs, projectors and screens for on-site meetings in the Creative area.
- Build and maintain vendor relationships.
- Stocks, inventories and orders supplies as needed for the Creative
- Maintains event supply inventory, including tracking items that are removed and returned for the Creative area
- Ensures accurate and timely orders for catering services at the direction of Creative department.
- Builds and maintains vendor relationships.
- Runs errands and makes deliveries as needed.
- Assists and welcomes on-site visitors for the Creative department
- Acts as a liaison with the Facilities department on events organized in the building.
- Assists with Sponsorship Events that are held in the building and offsite
- Assists supervisor with the booking, confirming, and executing events when supervisor is out of the office.

- Other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Â
Education:Â Â High school diploma or GED.
Experience: Two years or more of general housekeeping, food and beverage or catering experience preferred. Â
