Overview

At Guthrie’s Ace Handyman Services, we have proudly served Middle Tennessee since 1951 with one simple promise: bringing helpful to your home. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in delivering that promise every day.

You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, helping coordinate appointments, support our craftsmen, and ensure every customer interaction is handled with professionalism and care. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys organization, communication, and creating positive customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for inbound customer calls and inquiries
  • Schedule appointments and match customers with the appropriate craftsman
  • Coordinate schedules, confirm appointments, and manage daily scheduling changes
  • Maintain accurate customer records and job documentation
  • Follow up with customers after service completion to ensure satisfaction
  • Handle customer concerns and provide timely, solution-oriented support
  • Support operational efficiency through strong communication and organization
  • Collaborate closely with office staff and field teams to ensure smooth service delivery
Must Have
  • 1–3 years of customer service, scheduling, or administrative support experience
  • Professional and empathetic phone communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, and Sheets)
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
  • Availability to work full-time Monday through Friday
  • Reliable transportation to the Nashville office
  • Willingness to complete a background check
Nice to Have
  • Experience in home services, construction, or related industries
  • Familiarity with CRM or scheduling software, especially ServiceTitan
