Field/Gym Facilitator

YMCA at Margaret Maddox is Now Hiring for Field/Gym Facilitator

Position Type: Part-time

Pay Range starts at $14 per hour (or more depending on experience)

Are you passionate about youth sports and creating a positive environment for kids and families? Join the YMCA of Middle Tennessee as a Field/Gym Facilitator  and help bring our youth sports programs to life!

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure the facilities, equipment, and activities are safe, fun, and welcoming for everyone.
• Build positive relationships with volunteer coaches, parents, and participants.
• Promote the YMCA’s core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
• Oversee game and practice operations while maintaining a risk-free environment.
• Support the YMCA team by attending meetings, training sessions, and other duties as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum Age: 16
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• A positive attitude and strong communication skills to engage with diverse groups.
• Ability to stay organized, handle multiple tasks, and resolve conflicts professionally.
• Experience with YMCA sports programs is a plus, but we’ll provide the tools to succeed!

Certifications Required:

• New Hire Orientation (before your first shift).
• CPR, First Aid, and AED (within 30 days of hire).
