Hydraulic Machinist

Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Hydraulic Machinists for projects located in the Nashville, TN area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $28-30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:         

• Disassemble hydraulic motors wash parts and analyze failure modes scoring wear cavitation
• Operate manual lathes mills surface grinders and hones to re-work or custom-fabricate shafts pistons and housings
• Use micrometers dial indicators and bore gauges to verify tolerances down to the thousandth of an inch.
• Rebuild motors with new seals and bearings then run units on a hydraulic test bench to verify flow and pressure

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience
• Ability to read blueprints, and technical schematics
