About the role

We are seeking an Inventory Administrator, responsible for supporting inventory operations through accurate SKU creation, transfer order management, and sales order entry. This role ensures product data integrity, efficient inventory movement between locations, and timely processing of orders to support fulfillment and sales operations. The Inventory Administrator works closely with the Inventory Analyst and cross-functional teams including warehouse, sales, and operations to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure smooth product flow.

What you'll do

SKU & Product Setup

  • Create and maintain SKUs within the inventory management system.
  • Ensure all product data is accurate, complete, and consistent across systems.
  • Maintain SKU attributes including product descriptions, pricing codes, vendor information, and category assignments.
  • Assist with updates, corrections, and deactivation of SKUs when necessary.

Transfer Order Management

  • Create and process transfer orders between warehouses, fulfillment centers, and other locations.
  • Monitor transfer order status and ensure timely movement of inventory.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to resolve transfer discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and system updates for inventory transfers.

Sales Order Creation & Support

  • Create and process sales orders in the inventory or ERP system.
  • Verify product availability and ensure accurate order details prior to submission.
  • Coordinate with sales and fulfillment teams to ensure timely order processing.
  • Assist with troubleshooting order issues or inventory allocation conflicts.

Inventory Support

  • Support the Inventory Analyst with maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Assist with inventory adjustments, reconciliations, and data audits.
  • Help identify discrepancies and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with internal inventory control procedures.

Data Accuracy & Reporting

  • Maintain high levels of data accuracy across inventory systems.
  • Assist with preparing inventory reports as requested by the Inventory Analyst.
  • Support process improvements related to inventory tracking and order management.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in inventory management, order management, or administrative operations.
  • Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Must be able to report to both our Nashville office and Mt. Juliet warehouse
