Mid Shift Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation, mechanical knowledge, and a proven ability to lead a team effectively. This role involves ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining safety standards, and managing inventory while providing excellent customer service

This individual must have flexibility in schedule to cover morning, mid, or evening shift as needed.

• Scheduled shift is Mon – Thur 10:00am – 6:00pm, Fri 9:00am-5:00pm
• Must be flexible to cover morning shift or evening shift as needed for vacations, call offs, etc.

Duties

• Supervise warehouse staff and coordinate daily activities to ensure efficient operations.
• Oversee the loading and unloading of materials and products, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular audits and effective stock management.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
• Train new employees on warehouse procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and address any operational challenges.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to assist in the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment and Fleet.
• Manage nightly delivery routes for efficient on time deliveries
• Monitor logistics request dashboard for Sales Rep requests
• Communicate with Sales team regularly
• Monitor and manage load sheets on daily basis

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and organized
• Self-starter, demonstrating the ability to multi-task and manage a priority list
• Excellent professional communication skills
• Experience with warehouse power equipment: forklifts, reach trucks, stock pickers, and pallet jacks.
• Literate in Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Excel and Microsoft Teams.
• Capacity to learn ERP software system and navigate it efficiently.
