Build the systems behind work that matters.

Holladay Ventures is looking for a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful Operations Manager to help keep our growing organization—and the communities and programs we support—running smoothly.

We develop workforce, affordable, and mixed-income housing designed to create long-term positive outcomes for residents, communities, and investors. Since our founding in 2019, Holladay Ventures has developed more than 1,200 units of affordable housing representing more than $450 million in development.

We are a small, entrepreneurial team, which means this isn't a role where you'll stay in one narrow lane. You'll work across the organization, solve problems, improve processes, support our people and residents, and help turn leadership priorities into action.

A significant part of your role will also be supporting Affordable Development Mastery (ADM), Holladay Ventures' 12-month mentorship and mastermind program for real estate investors who are becoming affordable housing developers.

If you're someone who sees what needs to happen, creates order from complexity, and enjoys being the person others can count on to keep things moving, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

Lead the day-to-day operations of Affordable Development Mastery

You'll become the primary operational point of contact for ADM members and help create an exceptional member experience. You'll:

  • Manage member questions, enrollment, scheduling, billing, and invoicing.
  • Answer foundational questions about the affordable housing development process, terminology, and ADM program structure while connecting members with coaches for advanced or deal-specific questions.
  • Help members navigate ADM resources, recordings, and frameworks.
  • Coordinate closely with the coaching team while managing the business and operational side of the program.
  • Monitor recurring questions, confusion points, and community concerns and bring insights back to leadership.
  • Support the hiring and onboarding of new ADM team members and the onboarding of new program members.

Keep Holladay Ventures running smoothly

You'll serve as an important connector across our organization, helping translate priorities into action. You'll:

  • Coordinate across departments and help keep employees and leadership aligned on company goals, policies, and initiatives.
  • Support day-to-day HR administration in partnership with our external HR team, including job descriptions, handbook administration, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Organize training and strengthen employee onboarding and continuous learning.
  • Help bring our culture to life through company events, off-sites, all-hands meetings, employee appreciation, and team activities.
  • Support the Accounting Manager with AP/AR and budgeting activities.
  • Help maintain legal entities and required filings.
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate technology needs as they arise.

Support the resident experience

The impact of our work ultimately comes back to the people who live in the communities we develop. You'll:

  • Partner with the Director of Operations on resident empowerment, community engagement, retention, and satisfaction initiatives.
  • Provide oversight and coordination with third-party property management.
  • Help resolve resident concerns and identify opportunities to improve the resident experience.
  • Build feedback loops that help leadership understand resident needs and use those insights to shape future programming and design.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means: ADM members receive responsive, organized support; internal operational issues are resolved before they become leadership issues; employees have a strong onboarding and team experience; resident feedback reaches the right people; and leadership has greater capacity to focus on strategy rather than day-to-day administration.

What You'll Bring

We're less interested in finding someone who checks every traditional box than we are in finding someone who can own, organize, communicate, and execute.

You'll likely thrive here if you are:

  • Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented.
  • A self-starter who doesn't need to wait for someone to tell you the next step.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • An excellent written and verbal communicator.
  • Confident working independently while collaborating across a small team.
  • Tech-savvy, proficient with Microsoft Office, comfortable using AI, and quick to learn new systems.
  • Resourceful and creative when faced with an operational problem that doesn't have an obvious answer.
  • Flexible, positive, and energized by an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Someone with strong leadership instincts who builds trust and follows through on commitments.
  • Ability to work on-site with opportunity for hybrid work

How We Work

Our values aren't words on a wall. They reflect how we expect our team to approach the work, one another, and the communities we serve.

  • PASSIONATE — We bring energy, heart, and purpose to everything we do.
  • COMMITTED — We stand by our promises and persevere through challenges. Our dedication to people, communities, and our mission is unwavering.
  • CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING — We approach challenges with curiosity and innovation.
  • INTEGRITY — We do the right thing—even when it's hard. Honesty, transparency, and accountability guide our actions and build trust with our team, partners, and community.
  • FORWARD THINKING — We anticipate change, embrace innovation, and continuously evolve to stay ahead.

Why Holladay Ventures?

This is an opportunity to have a meaningful impact in a growing company where your work will be visible.

You'll work closely with leadership, have exposure across multiple areas of the business, and have the opportunity to improve how we operate—not simply maintain existing processes.

Most importantly, the work supports a larger mission: developing quality housing and empowering communities to thrive.

Interested?

If you're energized by creating structure, solving problems, supporting people, and making things happen—and you want your work to contribute to something bigger—we'd like to hear from you.
