Digital Power Order Manager

Position Summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Digital Power Order Manager to support the successful execution of Digital Power orders throughout the order lifecycle.

This role serves as a critical liaison between customers, Sales, Order Services, Manufacturing Operations, Purchasing, and other internal stakeholders to ensure accurate order execution, timely communication, and an exceptional customer experience.

 

The Digital Power Order Manager functions primarily as an Order Coordinator, overseeing order fulfillment activities from order release through shipment, invoicing, and closeout.

 

This position requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.  This role is dedicated exclusively to Digital Power line items and serves as a key contributor to customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and order execution performance.

 

Key Responsibilities

Order Coordination & Backlog Management

  • Serve as the primary Order Coordinator for Digital Power orders.
  • Manage the backlog for non-project-related orders, including hardware and third-party pass-through orders.
  • Monitor order progress and coordinate activities to support on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate order closeout activities within internal systems, SMS and ESPS.
  • Maintain accurate order records and documentation throughout the order lifecycle.

Purchasing & Supplier Coordination

  • Coordinate initial purchasing requests in our internal ESPS system, when required.
  • Partner with Purchasing to facilitate procurement activities and provide required quotation documentation.
  • Support supplier communications to ensure timely execution of order requirements.
  • Maintain and update tracking information in SAP S/4HANA for direct vendor shipments.

Customer Service & Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to Digital Power orders.
  • Provide timely and accurate order status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate expedite requests and communicate progress, risks, and resolution plans.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships while delivering a high level of service and responsiveness.

Schedule & Operations Coordination

  • Update and maintain schedules within customer-facing systems.
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing Operations, Purchasing, Sales, and Logistics teams to ensure alignment on delivery commitments.
  • Proactively identify schedule risks and facilitate resolution of issues impacting order fulfillment.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to support customer requirements and business objectives.

Post-Shipment & Financial Support

  • Coordinate final invoicing activities when required.
  • Support post-shipment activities, including warranty coordination and issue resolution.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and operational performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in order management, customer service, supply chain, project coordination, or a related business function.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in customer service, order management, supply chain, project coordination, or a related business function.
  • Experience supporting customer-facing order fulfillment processes in a manufacturing, industrial, or technology environment.
  • Knowledge of Schneider Electric systems, including ESPS, SMS, and SAP S/4HANA.
  • Understanding of purchasing, procurement, manufacturing operations, and logistics processes.
  • Experience managing third-party pass-through orders and supplier coordination activities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with experience identifying opportunities to improve processes and customer experience.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 68,000 - USD 102,000 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
