Performs pipe welding primarily in a 1G position. Must pass a test in 6G position. Responsibilities:   Layout and fit pipe, offsets, bends, and radiuses. Assemble and install hangers, pipes, and fittings using couplings, clamps, flanges, bolts, pro press, soldering, brazing, and tack welding. Use a cutting torch to cut and bevel steel pipe Performs pipe welding primarily in a 1G position. Must pass a test in 6G position. Piping systems include Chilled Water, Heating Water, Refrigeration, Condensate, Steam, and Condenser Water piping Understand installation of piping systems according to the contract drawings, shop drawings, and details Keeps work area clean and in an orderly condition.
