We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee heavy civil and utility infrastructure projects from preconstruction through closeout. This is a hands-on leadership role with a heavy civil general contractor specializing in the construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and other municipal infrastructure throughout Middle Tennessee.

Responsibilities- Manage heavy civil and utility infrastructure projects from award through final closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
- Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project documentation.
- Collaborate with superintendents and field personnel to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with owners, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors.
- Monitor project financial performance and proactively identify risks, cost impacts, and schedule adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, specifications, and company safety and quality expectations.
- Support commissioning, punch list completion, and project turnover activities.
- 3+ years of Project Management experience in heavy civil or mechanical construction.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout with full responsibility for schedules, budgets, and client communication.
- Experience with water or wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, utility infrastructure, industrial facilities, or similar heavy civil projects is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling, cost control, contract administration, RFIs, submittals, and change order management.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Must live within approximately one hour of Nashville, Tennessee.
- Experience working for a heavy civil general contractor or mechanical contractor is required.
- Candidates with backgrounds limited to residential construction, homebuilding, or light commercial construction will not be considered.
- Competitive salary of $90,000–$120,000, with flexibility for highly qualified candidates.
