Ally Psychiatry is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing team at TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. This is an outstanding opportunity for a clinician who enjoys the fast pace and variety of inpatient consult-liaison psychiatry while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary behavioral health team.

In this full-time position, you will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborative treatment planning for patients admitted to the medical hospital who require behavioral health services.


Position Highlights

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule 
  • Inpatient consult-liaison psychiatry 
  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, hospitalists, nursing staff, and case management teams 
  • Perform psychiatric assessments and medication management 
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans 
  • Assist with care coordination and discharge planning 
  • Opportunity to practice in a respected acute care medical center 
  • Supported by the experienced leadership team at Ally Psychiatry 

Call Schedule

  • One night of call per week 
  • One weekend of call per month

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) 
  • Active Tennessee APRN license (or ability to obtain) 
  • DEA registration (or eligibility) 
  • Experience in inpatient psychiatry, hospital-based psychiatry, or consult-liaison services preferred 
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
