Nashville General Hospital seeks to hire an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for our Cardiac/Telemetry Unit who will embrace our commitment to providing quality care to every patient and family member. This is an 18-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio.Â

As a Cardiac/Telemetry RN you will be responsible for:Â Â Â Â Â Â
- Â Admitting and assessing patients
- Â Administering medication and treatments
- Â Monitoring vital signs and symptoms
- Â Running and ordering tests
- Â Coordinating care with Physicians and Specialists
- Â Charting Patient Progress
      Â
Required Skills & Qualifications:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
- Â Graduate of an accredited associate of Nursing degree (or Diploma) Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing Preferred.
- Â Current Licensure or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or compact state.Â
- Employee must have valid BLS upon hire. ACLS, Chemotherapy Competency and CPI are required within 90 days of hire.   Â
