Roadmap - Guide

Purpose of Roadmap Guides:

A Roadmap - Guide is paired with Roadmap Participant(s) who are working on the skills and behaviors needed for the next level. The goal is to share knowledge and provide support while building a relationship of trust. Use all the tools and resources available while keeping the focus on G5. 

A great Roadmap - Guide will have, be, or display:

• current General Manager or Area Director Mentor in good standing
• has been endorsed by their Director of Operations and Director of Training
• consistently follows the D's Mission and Values; always having a #JustBeD's attitude
• consistently hits all unit level G5 and financial targets (SWAT and Variance at or below budget, schedules to demand with no OT, 85% or greater to Targeted Staffing, Top 50% of YTD Key P&L Ranker)
• a positive people culture (Paradox executed to standard, unit staffed, Turnover at or below 125%, GSTP% at or greater than 55%, Day One sign off consistently at 100%)
• strong training and development skills (NCTR GM)
• passionate about others development, enjoys seeing others succeed
• a great working knowledge of all Captain D's tools, systems, processes (D’s Net, Training Page/Videos/D’s Bytes, Manager How to Cards, QR Codes, Ops Policies/Procedures, etc)
• does things "The D's Way!"

Role and Responsibilities:

• Will #BeOpen and available for at least 1 in-person or virtual (phone/video chat) with their assigned Participant(s) each Period.
• Will #BeRelentless in their mentorship.
• Will #BePassionate about other(s) development, knowing that persons' success motivates themselves.
• Will #BeCurious to ask questions, seeking to understand what their Participant(s) know and what the real growth opportunities are.
• Will #BeYou, recognizing the value in your unique experiences and knowledge, along with the wisdom gained from other successful D’s leaders.

Once approved by your DO and DOT, your Training Partner will reach out to you to and review the program and answer any questions you have.
