Job DetailsJob Location: 1700 Stratford Ave - Stratford, CT 06615Salary Range: $19.00 - $21.00 HourlyJob Shift: GraveyardPosition Overview: Two Roads Brewing is seeking a Sanitation Technician to join the Packaging team in Stratford, CT. There are four primary unit operations; canning, bottling, variety packaging, and kegging. The sanitation technicians will be responsible for sanitation requirements of machinery, equipment, and facilities. This is a third shift position and typically will work 9pm – 5:30am beginning Monday night.   Working Relationships:  This position of Sanitation Technician reports directly to the Packaging Supervisor on the shift at the brewery. This person collaborates with other packaging technicians, warehouse forklift operators, quality coworkers, and brewers. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Regular attendance to work packaging shifts as scheduled by packaging manager weekly Learn, understand and execute packaging operations according to standard operating procedures Maintain equipment cleanliness in compliance with GMP (General Manufacturing Practices) standards Follow PPE guidelines in the facility CIP (clean in place) packaging fillers, monitor process steps and titrate chemical concentrations Clean equipment, conveyoring, flooring and other areas of packaging Accurately complete a daily cleaning log Preform adenosine triphosphate (ATP) swabbing and record findings Cross training to operate machinery following all safety guidelines in an efficient manner. Communicate all mechanical issues to Packaging Supervisor and maintenance department Responsible for personal and fellow coworker safety in the packaging area Other duties as assigned QualificationsSKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS Extremely high level of attention to detail Excellent time management skills Proven ability to work well with others Demonstrated mechanical aptitude Strong overall understanding of safety procedures, regulations and requirements Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Takes ownership and initiative Have understanding of OSHA regulations Attitude: Positive, team oriented and results driven with a good sense of humor Physical, Mental, and other Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to work 3rd shift and adjust schedule as needed Ability to lift 55lbs Will be responsible for using various machinery, tools, and PPE High school diploma or equivalent preferred Benefits: Salary: Commensurate with experience Great Benefits – medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and best of all FREE BEVERAGES!
