The Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in supporting the financial health of the Captain D’s brand, delivering reporting, forecasting, and analysis that guide leadership decisions and operational performance.

A successful candidate will leverage their proven financial expertise to support Captain D’s accounting and treasury functions, driving strong financial reporting, analytics, regulatory compliance, and audit oversight. Their work will directly strengthen cash flow, operational transparency, and overall profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accounting policies & procedures and implement controls to reduce transaction risk.
  • Oversee financial report production and ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
  • Recommend performance benchmarks for measuring company results.
  • Provide financial analysis, focusing on capital investments, pricing, and contract negotiations.
  • Support external auditors and supply required annual audit materials.
  • File SEC reports, including quarterly and annual submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Oversee cash management and treasury functions.
  • Manage outsourced accounting operations and relationships.

Ideal Candidates Will Bring:

  • Leadership Experience: 3+ years of related restaurant (or retail) support experience with similar responsibilities
  • Data Creation/Manipulation: Strong Excel and data reading/manipulation skills
  • Great Analytical Mind: Robust analytical, quantitative, and commutation skills (written and verbal)
  • Team Development: Able to mentor, coach, and train effectively
  • Master Multi-Tasker: Self-motivator with strong ability to manager numerous tasks and maintain high performance
  • Business Insight: Experience managing inventory, labor, and financial controls
  • Passion & Drive: Motivated, energetic, and results-focused
  • Growth Mindset: Eager to learn and advance professionally

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Physical/Mental Requirements:

  • Continuous use of speech, hearing, vision, and manual dexterity
  • Frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements for extended periods
  • Occasionally uses taste, smell, and far vision; works around chemicals and on uneven surfaces; may use a step stool/ladder

Work Conditions/Hours:

  • Full-time hybrid schedule
  • 24 hours in office (Nashville) per week, up to 16 hours remote (subject to change)
  • Might be exposed to extreme conditions, such as extreme heat or cold from equipment or weather
