Senior Platform Software Engineer

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Functions team in Nashville, Tennessee. OCI Functions is a serverless platform that enables customers to build and run applications without managing the underlying compute infrastructure.

As a member of the Functions team, you will design, build, test, deploy, and operate highly available cloud services at scale. You will work on technically challenging problems across distributed systems, service reliability, performance, security, and developer experience. Your work will directly influence the availability and usability of a platform used by customers to run critical workloads.

This is an IC3 role for an experienced engineer who can independently own meaningful areas of a service and deliver substantial portions of complex projects. You will work with product managers, architects, and engineers across OCI to translate requirements into reliable, maintainable solutions. You will contribute throughout the development lifecycle from design and implementation through deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and ongoing operational improvement.
