About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Sourcing Specialist to be our go-to expert for purchasing and sourcing at the new Nashville facility. As one of the earliest hires on site, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring we have the materials, packaging, and indirect supplies needed to launch and scale production successfully.

This is an individual contributor role (not people-management) designed for someone with 2–4 years of solid purchasing/sourcing experience who is ready to step into a broader, more impactful scope—working directly with senior leadership and helping shape our procurement processes from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Start-up / First 6–12 Months

Execute day-to-day purchasing of raw materials, packaging, and indirect materials/MRO to support plant start-up and ramp-up.

Create and manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure accurate documentation of all purchases.

Work closely with production planning to align materials availability with the production schedule and minimize stock-outs.

Support the Director of Finance & Procurement in setting up basic purchasing structure and workflows (approval flows, documentation standards, vendor data, etc.).

Ensure purchases are made with “good enough” structure at high pace—balancing speed, control, and risk.

Scaling & Optimization (Beyond Start-up)

Help identify, qualify, and manage indirect material suppliers; support reevaluation of key raw and packaging suppliers over time.

Work with product development and leadership to build dual/triple sourcing strategies where appropriate.

Partner with planning on MOQs, inventory levels, and risk management for critical materials.

Contribute to the development and refinement of procurement processes, systems, and reporting as the facility matures.

Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support continuous improvement in cost, quality, and service.

Qualifications

Must-Have

2–4 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain (ideally in a manufacturing environment).

Demonstrated experience with PO creation, supplier communication, and order tracking.

Solid understanding of basic sourcing principles (total cost, lead times, supplier performance, risk).

Strong analytical and organizational skills; comfortable working with data, lead times, and inventory implications.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across finance, planning, operations, and leadership.

Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment where not all processes are defined yet.

Nice-to-Have

Experience in food, beverage, or other FDA-regulated / quality-sensitive industries.

Exposure to building or improving procurement processes in a growing or greenfield facility.

Familiarity with ERP/purchasing systems and basic reporting/analysis.

Personal Traits / Culture Fit

We’re looking for someone who:

Gets excited about joining early and helping build something new.

Is smart, curious, and ambitious, with a strong desire to learn and grow.

Is comfortable “rolling up their sleeves” and switching between tactical buying and more strategic thinking.

Is energized by working closely with top management and having high visibility and impact.

Appreciates the blend of startup mentality + global brand foundation.

What We Offer

The opportunity to be a foundational team member at a brand-new U.S. manufacturing facility.

High exposure to senior leadership (Director of Finance & Procurement, CPO, and site leadership).

A chance to develop broad skills across purchasing, sourcing, systems, and operations far beyond a typical buyer role.

Competitive compensation package and benefits, aligned with experience and market in the Nashville area.
