The Staff Accountant plays an integral role in the Company’s financial close process, with a primary focus on ensuring the accurate recording of financial transactions in the general ledger. Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, performing balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting overall month-end close activities

Responsibilities
- Prepares and posts journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation.Â
- Analyzes balance sheet accounts and prepares corresponding reconciliations.
- Responds promptly to requests and inquiries.Â
- Retrieves, processes, and analyzes data from various sources.Â
- Maintains supporting accounting schedules.Â
- Collaborates with team members across the company.Â
- Adheres to compliance with company policies and procedures and applicable internal controls.Â
- Other duties as assigned.

- Basic understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and the ability to apply the principles to specific situationsÂ
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team membersÂ

- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize among multiple tasks and objectivesÂ
- Ability to demonstrate high integrity, especially in maintaining confidential informationÂ

- Microsoft Office Suite, most importantly Excel, Outlook, and TeamsÂ
Education/ExperienceÂ
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university required.Â
- No prior experience required. 0-2 years of public accounting or industry experience preferred.Â
- CPA preferred.
