Job DetailsJob Location: 96 Nashville TN - Nashville, TN 37209Position Type: OperationsTravel Percentage: NegligibleJob Shift: SalaryJob Category: M2Position Summary   This position is accountable for the operation, personnel management, and the service to customers within a specified geographic region.   Essential Functions   Promote and develop safe work behaviors in line with the companys safety programs and objectives Monitor hours of service for drivers; maintain compliance with all company and government regulations and policies Supervise performance of drivers to achieve incident free deliveries of every load Lead, manage, evaluate, and develop staff personnel Forecast terminal performance; evaluate performance and take corrective action to meet expense and financial forecast Engage local customers regularly to drive growth and enhance relationships Ensure maximum asset utilization   QualificationsQualifications   Bachelors degree in business related field or equivalent business experience in the transportation industry Excellent conflict resolution skills Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence Basic understanding of Microsoft Office   Note: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
