Trim Carpenter Journeyman

We are currently hiring Trim Carpenters in Downtown Nashville, TN for upcoming projects. Pay is up to $32 per hour based on experience and skillset. The Trim Carpenter is responsible for skilled finish, case and trim carpentry for a hospital setting. This role focuses on precision craftsmanship, reading plans, and preparing materials for installation.

Trim Carpenter Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings and project specifications
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials based on blueprints or shop drawings
• Operate machinery (saws, routers, sanders, drills, etc.)
• Finish, case and trim carpentry for new exhibits in a museum setting
• Inspect materials for quality and ensure accuracy of finished products
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and field teams
• Perform repairs or modifications to existing structures or components
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards

Trim Carpenter Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a carpenter 
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
• Must have PPE, Tools, and reliable transportation
• Drug Test required

Preferred Skills:

• 6+ years of professional carpentry 
• Trim carpentry background
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
