We are currently seeking skilled, service‑driven Bartenders to join our dynamic Beverage Team and bring the PLAY Playground experience to life.

About the Role

Bartenders play a key role in delivering fast, friendly, and consistent beverage service that aligns with PLAY Playground's energetic and entertainment‑focused atmosphere. You'll craft drinks, engage guests, uphold quality standards, and maintain an organized, compliant, and high‑functioning bar environment.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting while bringing professionalism, personality, and precision to every shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cocktails, wine, beer, and mixed beverages according to approved recipes
• Maintain a fully stocked workstation including liquor, mixers, garnishes, tools, and glassware
• Operate the POS system accurately and handle cash, payments, and comps responsibly
• Deliver exceptional guest service with a positive, outgoing, and engaging demeanor
• Ensure bar tops, tools, equipment, and prep areas remain clean, organized, and guest‑ready
• Monitor the quality and freshness of garnishes, juices, mixes, and bar products
• Collaborate with barbacks and team members to ensure smooth and uninterrupted bar operations
• Uphold all sanitation, safety, and compliance requirements

Qualifications

Required

• 21+ years of age
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a lively, high‑energy, entertainment‑driven environment
• Excellent multitasking and timing skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods

Preferred

• Bartending or hospitality experience in high‑volume environments
• Strong knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and classic cocktails
• Comfort working in nightlife, entertainment, or theatrical venues
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Ability to remain calm, focused, and guest‑forward under pressure
• Familiarity with batching, prep work, or craft‑style cocktail techniques
• Enthusiasm for creating memorable guest interactions in a dynamic setting

Licenses & Certifications - Required

• Valid Tennessee Alcohol Server Permit (or ability to obtain)
• Must meet state eligibility requirements for alcohol handling
